Innovate is an opportunity to follow a passionate pursuit from imagination to innovation. Students learn LEAN startup principles and develop an entrepreneurial mindset as they turn their ideas into action. Following a human-centered design process influenced by top universities and companies, students will determine the market viability of their problems and solutions, create prototypes and present their findings to a panel of peers, mentors and community members.
Former students have developed patentable products, started viable business and provided valuable services to their community.
You will work with and be influenced by some of the most creative companies and educational institutions around. The Kansas City entrepreneurial ecosystem is alive and well, consisting of our high-energy startup communities and our corporate intrapreneurs.
